Onboard creatives, crew & cast once. Email and phone are compulsory. People are saved to the shared crew database (used by EasyScheduler + EasyRisk too).
Your single source of truth for the whole cast: who's in, what night, what scenes, their radio mic, and a live checklist (costume sorted, make-up, props, bio…). Import a class/cast spreadsheet — no emails/phones needed for students.
Build a chronological full-day call sheet. The production-scheduled call (flagged in EasyScheduler's Call Sheet column) is pre-filled — add hair/makeup, sound checks, dress-down and clear around it.
Rehearsal reports, show reports, and incident / near-miss reports. Incidents are written to the shared risk record so they appear in EasyRisk too.
Time the running of the show. Start, mark split times at each boundary, stop, reset. Default splits are Act 1 / Interval / Act 2 — rename or add your own.
Your prompt copy. Paste the script in the centre, then click a line to drop a GO cue in the right margin — standbys auto-build in the left margin a few lines ahead. Each cue feeds a live per-department cue sheet below.
New to The Book, or teaching a class? Start from a ready-made template — a sample script with example cues already placed, so you can see how the calling script works.
Sample content is for demonstration only — not a finished, performance-ready script or cue list. Licensed titles (e.g. school musicals) will appear here as they become available.
Import a PDF (script, libretto or score). Each page renders as an image — click anywhere on a page to drop the selected cue type at that exact spot (a sung word or a single note). Cues feed the same department cue sheets.
This is the same show risk record EasyRisk uses. View and edit the emergency information here — it replicates straight back to EasyRisk.
A workbook of stage-management worksheets. Pick a sheet type below. Manual sheets are free-form tables; the auto-derived sheets (marked auto) read this show's EasyStage layout — refresh them without losing your edits.
These are the same per-department cue sheets generated in The Book tab — drop or move a cue there and it updates here automatically. Edit cues, actions and manual rows in The Book.
Print and post this at the stage door / SM desk. Anyone arriving scans it on their phone to sign on to this show (toolbox-talk / day-visitor sign-on). The same QR is printed at the bottom of every call sheet.
SWMS documents and emergency procedures from the shared risk record (read access for the SM team), plus any documents the SM uploads.
